It snowed here into the month of May in ’09 and there was no corn crop in Western Washington that Summer.
’99 was way colder here too, also shows on UAH GT as we went into La Nina following a record El Nino. https://ggweather.com/enso/oni.htm
’99 was the World record for snowfall here at Mt Baker. 1140 inches.
This year 493 inches so far, nothing like the 60s and 70s. https://www.mtbaker.us/the-mountain/snowfall-statistics/
Two days ago the El Nino and natural forcings story was the record global warming spike is not from CO2, admitting it is record warm globally and just finding cold fronts on a record warm planet pretending it’s global cooling.
When Jan the Frozen Man is found in a few years we will know he is happy. Why…the frozen grin of RICTOR on his face!
Hi Deb.
Last day of Winter, glad that’s over. It was a piece of cake, nothing like ’09.
Depends on where one lives. Conditions vary. You heard it here first 🙂
’09 start on UAH GT was a low temp. It was solar minimum and La Nina. TCI was very low and ’09 was cosmic ray maximum.
